This cocktail reminds me of spring! Be careful with the rose water though – it can be a quite overwhelming taste if not used in moderation. If you go overboard with it this drink tastes alarmingly like potpourri.

Gin + Watermelon + Rose Water Drank

Prep time: 5 mins

Total time:  5 mins
Yield: 6-8 servings

  • 4 cups watermelon, cut into chunks and then pureed (save a few pieces as garnish)
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1 cup gin
  • 2 tablespoons rose water
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 lime cut into pieces for garnish
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Combine first 5 ingredients and pour over ice. Garnish with fresh watermelon and lime slices. I find that the watermelon brings enough sweetness to this cocktail but feel free to add a few ounces of simple syrup if you enjoy your beverages on the sweeter side.
