INGREDIENTS

Blondies
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 cup packed brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract

  • ¼ tsp. salt

  • 2 cups all purpose flour

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

  • ½ cup chopped almonds

  • ½ cup toffee bits

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350F. In a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, combine melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla and salt at medium low speed until smooth. Add in flour, ½ a cup at a time until fully incorporated. Stir in chocolate chips, almond and toffee bits until evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Line a 9x13 inch rectangular metal baking pan with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the pan, and spread evenly to the corners. Bake in the centre rack for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean. Let cool completely before cutting into squares. You can store these in the fridge in a covered container for up to a week before gifting or you can pop them into the freezer for up to 3 months.
