This is our go to vegan breakfast. Had one of these almost every morning.

Strawberry Almond Smoothie

Yield: 1 smoothie

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 banana
  • 6 large strawberries
  • 2 nuggets of frozen spinach or two handfuls of fresh spinach
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • ½ teaspoon agave syrup
  • 1 1/3 cup almond milk

 

DIRECTIONS
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend on high until smooth. Smooth like a smoothie. Maybe that’s why they call it that. Just a thought.
