Indian Roti Bread

Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 30 minutes
Total time: 45 minutes
Yield: 4 servings

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 -1 1/2 cups water

DIRECTIONS

Put flour and salt in a bowl. Add a bit of water and start mixing.  Keep adding water in parts and knead the dough. Knead and add water until the dough is soft. Roll into small balls, flatten and cook on stove in very hot pan (no oil required when using cast iron or grill). Cook one side until it puffs up (like in above photo) and then flip onto other side.
